The Detroit Pistons are making some serious moves and dishing out some serious cash !! Ben Gordon 's 5 year 55 million $$ is huge . Charlie Villanueva 's 5 year 35 million$$ isn't chump change either. Joe Dumars is doing some major house cleaning in Detroit. He fired head coach Michael Curry on Tuesday. I don't know if that will make the Pistons better or not but who knows, it's worth a shot. Best wishes !! Go Pistons !!

Andre Ethier's homerun lifts Los Angeles Dodgers past the Rockies

Andre Ethier is having quite a season. He blasted his 15th homerun to help his team win. He is a clutch player who is only going to get better. Manny Ramirez is due back on July 3. The Dodgers will only get better with Manny in the lineup.

Andre Ethier had a big night in Los Angeles. He homered 3 times !!! This guy can really hit the ball while playing at Dodger stadium. When he plays away from home, he goes into a shell or something. Andre has a beautiful swing and a bright future. I would like him be more consistent on the road though.
The Dodgers are loaded with talent. It is amazing that without Manny Ramirez , the team still leads their divison. Ramirez is due to be back on July 3,2009. I predict that the Dodgers will win their division and represent the National league in the world series. Joe Torre is an excellent manager and might be facing his old team, the Yankees,in the World Series !!

A-Rod Passes Reggie Jackson on the All time Homerun list !!

A-Rod passe Reggie Jackson to become 11th on the All time homerun list. Reggie Jackson was there to greet him after he blasted his 564th bomb. I think it was a great gesture by Reggie. He is willing to forgive him for his admitted use to steroids. I am not so sure everyone else is so forgiving. What about you? Will you forgive him?

Green Bay Packers Lock up Greg Jennings with-3 year $27 million dollar deal !!

If I was a Green Bay Packer fan, I would be jumping for joy. Kudos,to the Packers organization for making this deal. The Packers can go into training camp feeling good about their chances at making a run at the Super Bowl.
First , Greg is only 25 yrs old. He is definitely in his prime. Secondly, he and Donald Driver gives Aaron Rodgers two guys who can and will catch the ball !! Last but not least, Green Bay has a potent offense that can run and throw the ball and above average defense that is on the improve. Aaron Rodgers, should definetly be better this year.

Alex Rodriguez ties Reggie Jackson on the all time homerun list at 563. Steriods or no steriods A-Rod continues to rewrite the record books. If he stays healthy he should break Barry Bonds' homerun mark of 762 homeruns.
A-Rod is still one of the best to ever play the game !!! No doubt about that !!!
